Happy Meal
Haven't had much time to compete on the FreakingNews.com site. I've been busy with client work. I found some time over the weekend to finish this piece, which I started the week prior. I was struggling with this one at first, but the concept finally came together after tons of revisions. This piece came in second out of 44 entries.
A toy that was part of a Happy Meal, finally gets his own burger, yummy.

Old man and the Sea.
The shark was actually inspired by a concept car. Once I created it, the shark was alone in this big blue sea...I guess he scared all the other fish away. The only thing I could think of to make this more interesting was a fisherman, and it just took me back to a book I read when I was a kid...The Old man and the Sea.

Fallen
Inspired by my favorite artist Salvador Dali and my new favorite Rene Magritte.
This was another freakingnews.com entry. I think this is probably one of the best pieces I've ever done, but unfortunately this image placed 5th out of 38th entries, but no biggie either way it's all in fun. The whole purpose of me being on the site is not too win contest (secretly I do) but it's really a way for me to think outside the box and create imagery that I wouldn't usually make. See other entries here.

The Private Tutor.
As a parent it's so important to teach your kids from an early age, how to navigate life, while simultaneously making sure they get the best education. At some point they are going to face the world on their own and they have a better chance of being successful in their endeavors, if they have a strong foundation to rely upon. Give your child the gift of wisdom.

Obesity Courts Death
So many health risk are associated with Obesity, and it's funny how as an individual you do this too yourself. Not consciously of course...it's not like you sit around and plan on being fat, most of the times it just happens. You get too comfortable have a few extra bites and next thing you know your over weight...trust me I know. The health risk involved can ultimately kill you. This piece is about, your own slow decent to the end while death waits patiently.

Untitled3
This piece is about the end of a relationship...going forward through unfamiliar terrain at the same time contemplating the uncertainty of it all. The curtains are a representation of the end / beginning of the present/future.

Surreal Life
I have no idea what this image is about or what it means, i was trying to experiment with putting together random elements into a scene to make something new and fresh. Since I barely have time anymore to make personal projects, I just went over to officialpsds.com and just grabbed all the interesting pieces I could find, which by the way saved me shit loads of time, cause if I were to do this with my own pics like I usually do, it would have taken me much longer too complete. I applied everything I've learnt in the last few months into this project and I'm satisfied with the way it turned out, I'm finally noticing a sort of style emerging.

Strange Journey
I've been through alot since I came to America, and through all the trials and tribulations, I've always felt blessed, cause everything I went through could have been much worse...but I'm still here, doing what I love to do and the whole thing has been a Strange Journey.
